Finished(5)

It's over:

Wow. The project is finished, it's hard to think that six weeks blew by that quickly and I have learned so much in that time. It was an amazing experience to be able to go through and build a quadcopter from start to finish. I learned so much about soldering, the assembly of a quadcopter and its parts, and I also learned a lot about myself. This project also gave me so much information and experience about fixing a quadcopter aswell. I'm not necessarily sad that the project is ending because I know I will continue to work on the quad this after this ends. Like my presentation talked about, the most valuable thing that I learned from this project is curiosity. I relearned what I loved about RC and quadcopters and how fun they are. I ordered some new propellers that will arrive within the next 20 days so I will hopefully be able to do another test run then diagnose the problem. As for my presentation, I think I did ok. There definitely needed to be more comedy and better pace but I think I did a good job memorizing my lines. One problem I had was I didn't know at all where I was in reference to time so I'm not sure if I went over or under on time. To look back on the project, here is a collection of photos of the process.
All the parts
3 out of 4 ESC's soldered to PDB
Got new supplies for the build
Death of the Dollar Store soldering iron. RIP
Quadcopter is semi-assembled
Fully assembled and soldering motors
Everything is assembled
Flight controller just finished configuring
Configured radio
First flight and crash
It has been a long and fruitful road and its coming to an end. It has been fun and exciting but sadly it's going to end. My goals for the future is to actually fix the quad and get it running. I also would like to make more in the future. I am sad however that I didn't achieve my goal for this project. There was a number of setbacks but I think the reason of failure was my own stupidity. This is my final goodbye as I bring this project to an end.
